The accreditation of journalists in Harare at the ZMC House will commence on the 11th of July 2022.
The outreach programme also seeks to engage the media and other stakeholders on the ongoing media reforms and on the available mechanisms for citizens to access information held by public bodies as provided for under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
The outreach is part of the Commission’s drive to bring its services closer to the people in line with the devolution and decentralisation thrust as encapsulated in the National Development Strategy (NDS)1 policy document. The outreach programme is expected to cover all major centres of the country.
